GUNAS was started in 2009 by designer Sugandh G. Agrawal as a cruelty-free fashion brand founded on the principle, that great design doesn’t need cruelty.  GUNAS originally produced all bags in New York, but has outsourced some of its production to artisan and small-scale ethical manufacturers as demand has picked up.
